5,000 Seasonal Employees Reinstated

While we are still disheartened for the 1,000 National Park Services employees whose positions have been eliminated as a result of the government’s efforts to downsize functions, we are excited to hear that 5,000 seasonal employees have been reinsated! This great news has been shared by Daly at the Associated Press.

As a friendly reminder for those that still plan to visit a National Park in the near future, please be patient and extra curtious as sites may still be short staffed. And as always, leave no trace. Happy hiking!
